DR Aurelie Valls – We are excited to have Dr Valls join our team permanently working on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
“I am a French general practitioner with 15 years of experience serving the French military community in mainland France, New Caledonia, and across different continents. It is now time for me to start a new chapter of my life in New Zealand with my son and my husband. I am delighted to contribute to the health and well-being of the community as part of the Pegasus Medical Centre team, which has supported me since my arrival.”
Dr Sophie Dyhrberg, GP registrar starting end January 2025
“Sophie is a first year GP registrar and is excited to join our team for the first six months of 2025. Sophie graduated from Otago Medical School in 2020 and has been in the CDHB region since. She has spent her time working in a wide range of hospital specialities and has recently completed a Diploma of Child Health.”

Dr Guillaume Hyron – seeing patients Tuesday to Fridays weekly.
Dr Hyron has 12 years’ experience as a GP, initially in Paris France and over the past 3-years in New Caledonia.
“A new chapter has opened here for me at Pegasus, I will settle here in North Canterbury with my wife and young son. So far, I have been warmly welcomed and I hope that in return I’ll be able to contribute to the health and wellbeing of the PMC patients. I look forward to meeting with you all .”

The role of a Health Improvement Practitioner (HIP) focuses on help and support towards behavioural change when stress/ life problems start to impact on health and well-being.
A Health Coach can offer practical assistance with:
Stress and problems of living
Making changes to health behaviours in : Diabetes and pre-diabetes, asthma, cholesterol, high blood pressure, other health
issues including parenting.
All appointments are Free of charge
