Flu Immunization 2023

Flu vaccines are free for:
children aged 6 months to 12 years old
pregnant people
Māori and Pacific people over 55
people aged 65 and over
people with underlying health conditions including heart disease, cancer, diabetes and serious asthma
people with significant mental illness such as schizophrenia or those currently accessing mental health services.
If you’re not eligible for a free flu jab, and not covered by an employer-funded programme, it costs between $35 and $40 depending on the vaccine.

WELCOME Dr Guillaume Hyron – seeing patients Tuesday to Fridays weekly. Dr Hyron has 12 years’ experience as a GP, initially in Paris France and over the past 3-years in New Caledonia.
“A new chapter has opened here for me at Pegasus, I will settle here in North Canterbury with my wife and young son. So far, I have been warmly welcomed and I hope that in return I’ll be able to contribute to the health and wellbeing of the PMC patients. I look forward to meeting with you all .”
